A funeral marks the end of a unique life. It is a major event, one which you want to get right. It is an occasion which usually has to be organised in a very short space of time, and so it can feel overwhelming, especially when you may be feeling a huge sense of grief and shock.

By choosing me as your independent celebrant you can have the funeral ceremony you want that is designed especially for you and your family. And you'll receive all the help and support you need during the lead up to the funeral.

I'll work closely with you, your family and friends to create a funeral ceremony that reflects the personality and individual beliefs of the person that has died and puts them at the heart of the event. A ceremony that enables you to say goodbye in a way that is meaningful and personal to you.

I'll spend time with you, write and deliver the ceremony, or support you to do so.  I can help you explore fitting music and readings, and to help you think about making the setting as personal and intimate as possible, whether it be at a crematorium, a church, a woodland burial ground or community venue. 

And I will liaise with other professionals to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Planning your own funeral

If you are nearing the end of your life and wish to arrange your own funeral

I can advise you about different options and help you create the ceremony that you want.

 

I'll work with you and your family in a way that feels manageable for you,

and when the time comes, I'll work alongside your family and friends to make sure that

your wishes are fulfilled.

My fees

From £300 based on a standard length ceremony at a crematorium or cemetery chapel.

Additional fees apply for an extended ceremony whether at a crematorium, burial chapel and 

followed by  a graveside ceremony or a community venue. I'll confirm my fees with you during

our initial contact. 

I am available for funerals across Greater London and am happy to travel further afield in

which case additional expenses may be incurred.
